Imperfection is beautiful

He looked at her. She looked at him. He looked at her but she didn't. He was just 1 foot taller than her, after all tall boy and short girl make a cute couple. There began their love journey in the tanker with their uniforms on and tired faces. Camp was their place of date. The place that brought them together. The place that made them look the least best with least makeup, with least hair gel and yet brought them together. They ran, marched, acted, sang, danced, ate, flew in the microlights together. She imagined him to be the pilot of her life and he imagined her to be the co-pilot of his life forever. In their barracks filled with people nobody even existed to them as they were lost in each others world waiting for the next meet looking through the window. Their show day was the only day they got to see each other in civilian dresses. Both looked lovely in their unpressed clothes, unwashed faces, unset hair. It was just another day with colorful clothes. Nothing mattered to them as they had already fallen for each others imperfections because it was all about loving beyond imperfections and imperfection is beautiful. <3

Low-carbon economy

The growth of economies today, generally, pertains to high industrial growth and modern luxuries dependent on high usage of coal and other fossil fuels, inadvertently leading to high carbon emissions. The Low Carbon growth is a novel concept that challenges this linkage, and promotes economic development based on industrial energy efficiency and low carbon technologies. Thus aiming to reduce the carbon-footprint and sustain economic growth in an ecologically sustainable model.

So, what is a low-carbon economy? A Low-Carbon Economy (LCE) is an economy that adopts the Low Carbon Growth path and minimizes the release of greenhouse gases (GHG) without compromising on the development. But this transition to a low-carbon economy demands an economic and social transformation which is both exciting as well as challenging. This transition in turn would balance the three core dimensions of the energy trilemma (choosing between profit, people and planet) and forms a strong basis for prosperity and competitiveness of individual countries. But India too like other countries is facing this trilemma on the prioritization of energy goals which needs a path of low carbon economy.

Governments and businesses have been making significant strides in this regard to research and develop a low carbon path driven by long term resource saving and immediate cost reduction. So what is creating the need for such attention?

Looking into the'Shadows' of Banking system

What is shadow banking?
The term “Shadow Banking was coined by McCulley  in the year 2007.Pozsar and Adrian and Shin presented articles  the first articles on Shadow Banking.

The shadow banking system is similar to the traditional banking system but the range of activities, mirror each other. Shadow banks simply take the credit intermediation process of traditional banks and separate it into its constituent steps. As an example, a normal process for a bank might be to gather deposits, originate loans, package a pool of loans into an asset-backed security, and sell the security to an investor. The same process when occurred within the shadow banking system might require multiple specialized firms each performing a different function.
From a risk perspective, the traditional and shadow banking systems differ in 3 key areas.
1 .Shadow banks do not hold deposits – Traditional banks have the benefit of being able to fund their activities using their own deposit base. These are also insured, making them highly stable. Since shadow banks are not depository institutions, they primarily tap short-term wholesale funding markets.
2. Shadow banks do not have access to deposit insurance or central bank liquidity – Since shadow banks do not hold deposits, insurance is generally moot. However, unlike traditional banks, if shadow banks run into funding troubles, they do not have access to emergency lending facilities from their central banks.
  3. Shadow banks are not subject to the same degree of regulation – In compensation for deposit insurance and emergency central bank support, traditional banks are subject to a wide variety of regulations including minimum standards for lending, capital and liquidity buffers, limits on leverage, and ongoing monitoring by regulators. In contrast, shadow banks are subject to a much flexible set of rules and less monitoring, if at all.
Your dreams never let you sleep. Chasing them everyday, every night.  I'm so lost. Donno which way to go. Everything looks good. Have you felt the same too ?

Birla Pizzas and Birla doughnuts!! Will they meet the synergy required ?????

Assumptious love!!

Everytime I felt lonely I had this special friend of mine who was always there throughout listening to me. He's seen me smile, blush, cry, hurt, frustrated. He's my love of life. He's Mr.Cloud. My balcony is the usual meeting place and I tell him every little thing. More sincerely than his girl friend. He looks different everyday. His colors are as fickle as my mood.Hmmm.. may be we sail on the same boat.oops he flies in the sky. He never responds to me which makes me feel rejected. But may be he's right. He wants me to realise things myself. I fall in love with him everytime he listens to me patiently than anybody else. But he reminds me that it is never gonna work out. Can't two different kinds of beings fall in love ? When we can love the technology named after him why not him itself ?. You are a silent counselor. You heal the pain deep inside me.Thank you Mr. Cloud I cant imagine my life without you. Hope you find a person as calm as you to listen to every pain that you undergo.  <3 <3 <3 Keep loving me <3

Blackberry husband and apple wife ;)

Couples these days! My goodness! Today's Tech savy generation are soon gonna change the traditions and culture just to save Time and make things easy. But I say u r the most unlucky ones for not having memories of the most beautiful day of your life. Not all can get a second chance either ;) :D. Like seriously what is that whole system of showing the ring to the camera and wearing it ?? Phew. Who knows your partner might not be as perfect as your camera displays. By doing this not only are you losing memories but also taking away the chance of your cousins and relatives to get dressed and meet new ppl! I hope this ‘system'  ends with just wedding and not the next process too. May be few years down the lane this would be listed under the head advantages of technology in IT text books. God save the  Indian traditions and culture before it could remain only in the history. #techfreak'swoawstory#itsuckstobeoverdependentontechnology#SaveIndianculture#

Crazy Stupid love ..LSD story

He held her in his arms. He fondled her body.He did everything that couldn't be described.
The couple were lost in making love. It continued for weeks and months. But, but they did it in public. In a place that was not ever  meant for such act. They felt it was too cool.  Was it ?. Clueless.  Its not personal when done in public right in front of everybody. Witnessing too many such things these days. #Disgust#Girlsandboyscreatingnuisancedoingnonsense#LSD#;)

Fear not my friend!

Your fear is your biggest enemy. It will destroy you completely. When you are brave enough to face the forces of nature then why fear people ?People only exist to criticize and comment. Be brave.Live the way you want to and you will love yourself.

So you think you’re smart??BEWARE!!

“To win in the market place, you must first win in the work place”
-Doug Conant, CEO of Campbell’s Soup
“Always treat your employees exactly as you want them to treat your best customers”
-Stephen R Covey
Wohoo!! Now, that’s a lot about employees. But does the management actually consider them to be the assets? What are they doing instead? –DOWNSIZING! The management uses this tool to reduce their employee strength to reduce the costs, in particular to lay off inefficient workers.
So, here comes the ‘Baap of Downsizing’ – BRIGHTSIZING. Undoubtedly, a new buzz word!!This is the practice of eliminating the brightest employee in the organization.
Why bright size?
According to the HR policies and framework of certain companies, the priority will be given to the senior most employees compared to the equally qualified candidates. Young, bright employees are eliminated to maintain the smooth functioning of the organization. Although the blame is on the companies with strong union, it equally exists in the non-union companies.
The mismatch between the holistic values of an individual and the company could also be the reason for elimination.
In my opinion, bright sizing has both pros and cons. It might be the policy or the culture of the company to promote dignity and have employees of the same value system. Training and tuning the talented employees to the company’s framework might be an added expense and time consuming. This is because all talented employees cannot match the organization culture. In contrary to this thought, the company could just bring down the health of the company. The decisions taken might be similar in approach and the structure or functioning of the company might become obsolete.
Therefore the process of downsizing the employees has just got a modification but also has in a way been derecognizing the talent and caliber.
At the end of it, a lot of unanswered questions pop up. Is bright sizing a demotivating factor or not? How ethical it is to practice it?
