On the eve of Valentine's, my soul wants me to close all the chapters of the past. For some chapters are meant to be closed without closure.
Only if I close, can I turn to the next page of a new chapter.
A chapter that's going to be of new hopes, new beginnings, new love, new aspirations and new dreams.
A chapter that's going to make me realize why bad things happen and why we meet good people who turn out to be bad only to us.
A chapter that's going to be a goodbye to you to say a new 'Hello'.
But, before closing wanted to confess that:
There was belief despite the doubts.
There was understanding despite the misunderstanding.
There was love despite the hate poems
There was closeness despite living so far far away.
There was hope in your hopeless rude words
There was trust in the mistrustful friendships and relationships of yours. Deep down I knew you could never cheat
There was gratitude despite selfishness for wanting you all to myself.
There were memories despite the formatting
There was irreversible, irrecoverable pain that your actions gave despite me being your only love
There was weakness despite you being my strength
You proved that there was no point in fixing things that were meant to be broken.
There were realizations through your unsaid words.
And I loved you truly.
